I will never forget 26 years ago when the Lord forgave me, and the bondage of sin and death which had held me captive for so long was unlocked by the key of His forgiveness which released His power. Fear, alcoholism, and addictions to cigarettes, sex, and drugs were unchained from me and those doors closed. Praise God! Praise God!

Since then I have seen thousands get free from sin, depression and insanity, addictions, and bondages of all types.

And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven (Matthew 16:19).

When Jesus told Peter He was giving him the keys to the Kingdom, we can see Jesus telling His disciples that one of the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven was the revelation that He was the Christ.

Another key is found in John 20:23: “Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.” Believing in the revelation of the perfect sacrifice and the One who could forgive and then receiving power to forgive people are truly keys that open Heaven for us and close hell. Forgiveness begins the release of the supernatural power from Heaven on our behalf when we call on His Name. This power is revealed in many ways, however He chooses. It may come as salvation from our sins. It may come as healing to our wounded emotions or broken body. It may bring peace to a tormented mind. Nevertheless, His power is released from Heaven when He or we make a decision to forgive. A true manifestation of the character of God is released through us when we give and when we forgive. This isn’t the nature of the fallen man. We want to get even, get revenge. We want to disrespect those who have disrespected us.

Human love is conditional. Do what we want, and then we will love you and fellowship with you. God’s love is supernatural; His love is unconditional. He loves regardless. There are conditions and principles in this Kingdom, but His love is unconditional. “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Rom. 5:8). He loved us and was willing to forgive us while we were still in the wrong. Reading this, hearing this is one thing. But to actually begin to walk in this truly is taking up His cross and following Him. That’s right, this means daily sacrifice and taking your thoughts captive depending on how strong the habit of unforgiveness has grown. How long and how far has it gotten out of control in your life? Only you and God know the answer to this. His will is to see you free from this bondage. Ask His help, repent to Him, and watch His power begin to be released in your life.

To love and forgive is a manifestation of Christ’s Spirit.
